Easy Access Clinic

Group Prenatal Care (Launches May 14th)

Group prenatal care is an alternative model to traditional one-on-one prenatal visits. It combines individual health assessment with group education and peer support. Sessions are typically led by a licensed provider and may include co-facilitators such as nurses, childbirth educators or doulas.

In each group session:

  • You will have a brief individual check-in with the provider for clinical assessment.

  • You will participate in facilitated group discussions on pregnancy, labor preparation, postpartum care, and newborn health.

  • Sessions are generally 60-90 minutes and occur at regular intervals throughout pregnancy.

Services Provided

The following services are included in this group prenatal care model:

  • Routine prenatal assessments (vital signs, fetal heart tones, fundal height, etc.)

  • Lab test coordination and review

  • Nutrition and lifestyle counseling

  • Emotional and mental health screening and referrals

  • Education on pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and newborn care

  • Peer support and community building

The following services are NOT included:

FAQ's about Lactation Lounge Drop In's:

How does Lactation Lounge work?
The Nest offers no-cost drop-in lactation care on Fridays from 9am to 12pm. No appointments are necessary and we provide private 30-minute visits on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do I have to pay anything?
Nope. Families will never have to pay anything for Lactation Lounge visits. If applicable, we will collect insurance information to determine if the current visit or future visits will be covered by insurance.

Who is eligible for Lactation Lounge visits?
Lactation Lounge visits are available to the community. All families are welcome.

How can I ensure I’ll be seen?
The best way to ensure a visit with a lactation professional during Lactation Lounge is to arrive close to the 10am start time with your intake forms already completed. If you are considering coming to Lactation Lounge for the first time, please contact our office so you can fill out your intake forms online ahead of time. Alternatively, you can complete your intake forms once you arrive, but they must be completed before you are seen and you may be “bumped” on the waiting list.

We close our waiting list at 11AM, so please be sure to arrive prior to 12pm.

Can I choose my provider?
We cannot guarantee providers as the visits are first-come, first-served. We will do our best to accommodate continuity of care.

What should I bring with me?
Bring whatever feeding supplies you currently have questions about. If you have questions about bottle refusal, bring your bottle. If you have questions about pumping/flange fitting, bring your pump. If you have questions about latch, bring your baby and whatever tools you may be using at breast.
