Jenica Willis

Owner | Founder | IBCLC

Hi there! My name is Jenica and I am the owner and founder of The Nest & Company. Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me. I am currently a junior midwifery student working towards obtaining my Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) certification and licensure at the National College of Midwifery. I am a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and childbirth educator. I wear many hats at The Nest. You may see me doing everything from teaching, speaking, to cleaning.

I come from a very blended family and have 7 sisters and 2 brothers. I grew up in Reno, NV and I moved to Bakersfield, CA during my junior year of high school. I graduated from Liberty High in 2007.

I married the best man I know in 2014, I have the amazing privilege of being a bonus mom to my two teenage children, and I get to cuddle with my two fur babies daily. So you can say life is pretty good. :)

I feel extremely fortunate that I get to serve my community in this capacity. I absolutely love what I do.

Vivian Bishop

Director of Operations & Communications | Childbirth Educator

Hi, I'm Vivian! I'm a wife and mom to two amazing boys, and a proud member of The Nest team since 2018. I handle a lot of behind-the-scenes work in digital marketing and HR, helping to keep things running smoothly. I'm deeply passionate about our mission here, which inspired me to become a certified Childbirth Educator. It’s been such a fulfilling journey, and I absolutely love being able to contribute in this way.

To say I enjoy my roles here at The Nest would be an understatement—I’m truly grateful for the work we do and the incredible people I get to collaborate with every day. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me with an iced coffee and a good book in my hand!

Stacie Bingham

Childbirth Educator | Lactation Counselor

I’m Stacie, and I'm a doula and childbirth educator at The Nest. I've been in the world of birth and babies and breastfeeding since 2002. Working with expectant and new families is one of my passions, as is growing and mentoring new doulas.

I’m married to an incredibly patient man who is the love of my life. We have four sons, and we finally got a girl when our oldest married his college sweetheart. I'm grateful for my family and all I've learned of love and life through our relationships.

Our family fosters orphan kittens and we have a knack for bottlefed-babies. I love music and always look forward to taking in live shows. I'm currently back in school, and I think when I grow up I want to be a therapist. Someday when life slows down, I want to write a book called "Building Your Plant Army Through Cloning, Pruning, and Thievery." When I'm not spending time with new families, or my family, I can be found swimming laps with my MP3 player, dreaming I'm a mermaid.

Felicity Fuentes

Finance Manager

Hi! I’m Felicity Fuentes! I was born and raised in Bakersfield and love my town and community. I’m married to my high school sweetheart and we have two daughters who keep us busy! I have worked in finance and accounting for over ten years and have my Bachelors degree in Accountancy from National University. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted a job that “helps people”. I didn’t know what exactly that would mean until I was pregnant with my second daughter and realized maybe birth work would be where I find my “why”. I love all things pregnancy and postpartum and am so excited to be with a company that serves parents through the early years of parenthood and beyond. My hobbies include hanging out with my chickens, talking too much, watching reality TV, and buying fabric for sewing projects I will do one day…maybe. I’m so excited to be part of this team!
