Lactation Lounge Free Drop-In Visits
What is Lactation Lounge?
FAQ's about Lactation Lounge Drop In's:
The Nest offers no-cost drop-in lactation care on Fridays from 9am to 12pm. No appointments are necessary and we provide private 30-minute visits on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do I have to pay anything?
Who is eligible for Lactation Lounge visits?
How can I ensure I’ll be seen?
The best way to ensure a visit with a lactation professional during Lactation Lounge is to arrive close to the 10am start time with your intake forms already completed. If you are considering coming to Lactation Lounge for the first time, please contact our office so you can fill out your intake forms online ahead of time. Alternatively, you can complete your intake forms once you arrive, but they must be completed before you are seen and you may be “bumped” on the waiting list.
Can I choose my provider?
We cannot guarantee providers as the visits are first-come, first-served. We will do our best to accommodate continuity of care.
Bring whatever feeding supplies you currently have questions about. If you have questions about bottle refusal, bring your bottle. If you have questions about pumping/flange fitting, bring your pump. If you have questions about latch, bring your baby and whatever tools you may be using at breast.
Lactation Lounge Free Support Group
Join us every Thursday from 12:00PM to 2:00PM for a free, drop-in support group designed for parents in the early stages of parenting. Get support and answers to your questions about breastfeeding, infant feeding, pumping, and more.
Our Lactation Lounge Support Group is an opportunity for families to get peer-support and connect with other breastfeeding/expecting parents. Our support group is facilitated by a lactation professional to ensure the information shared is evidence-based and appropriate, but no clinical care is performed in the support group setting. Please join us for camaraderie and general feeding advice.
Please note: While this group does not offer clinical care, we’re happy to provide helpful resources and referrals to trusted professionals.
