I am passionate about providing evidence-based education, compassionate support, and advocacy so families feel confident and empowered in their birth choices. I believe knowledge creates confidence, and confidence transforms birth.

Mariah Cunningham
I’ve been married for 12 years and am blessed to be a mom of four. Family is at the heart of everything I do. My journey started in the kitchen as a culinary graduate, where I discovered my love for nourishing and caring for others through food. Over the years, I’ve realized that this same passion for nurturing extends far beyond the table—it’s about creating spaces of comfort, encouragement, and strength in every season of life.
This is what drew me to birth work. After experiencing my own pregnancies and births, I felt a deep calling to walk alongside women during one of the most powerful transitions they’ll ever face: bringing new life into the world. As a birth doula, my heart is to provide support, encouragement, and advocacy so that every mother feels heard, empowered, and embraced throughout her journey.
Motherhood has taught me resilience, compassion, and the beauty of walking through challenges with grace. As I step into the calling of birth work, I carry with me not only my training but also my lived experience as a wife, mother, and nurturer at heart.

Khamya Hopkins
Hello, I'm Khamya Hopkins, a full spectrum birth doula in Kern county. I have over 70 hours of education and childbirth preparation; labor support and non-medical comfort measures; evidence-based labor techniques and positioning; perinatal anatomy and physiology; prenatal, labor, and postpartum care; education on gestational diabetes and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy; perinatal mental health education; advocacy and informed decision-making. As well as lactation education. What drew me to birth work was to lessen the disparities in care. I want to help provide physical and mental support as well as showing mothers that birth and pregnancy can feel empowering.
